Jon Soars has over four decades of extensive experience in commercial aviation. His career commenced at South African Airways and later included significant roles at British Airways and pivotal contributions to the foundational Travicom, a precursor to the Travelport GDS. In the 1990s, he directed British Telecom’s Prestel division and served as the European representative for the consultancy BACK Aviation, offering vital support to diverse sectors including investment banks, airports, airlines, and governmental bodies. Recently, Jon established Aviation Analytics, a specialized entity focusing on data-driven solutions for airlines and airports, leveraging advanced tools such as QlikView and Power BI. His expertise in business intelligence and data analytics provides invaluable insights to ASM clients.
