March 2010
African Airport Development, Spring 2010– on behalf of an unnamed consortium ASM have provided advice on the potential demand for a new airport facility in a major African market. This analysis has combined both conventional desk based research with discussions in market with various stakeholders and in particular from the existing airline community. With the analysis complete, ASM then provided a detailed traffic forecast of market demand against a series of strategic assumptions around the new development.

Inhouse Training Courses – in 2010 ASM have so far successfully held three dedicated training courses for major airport groups around the world. Taking the highly acclaimed ASM Fundamentals Course as the basis of such programmes we have tailored market to reflect the local market environments and allowed for strategic insight to be added to the course content. In each case Senior Management from the airport operators were in attendance and are now adjusting their respective business development strategies to reflect the advice offered from ASM.

As part of an acquisition bid by our client Egis we undertook a market evaluation of Macedonia's airports – Skopje and Ohrid. We also undertook an assessment of the potential to develop a new dedicated cargo and freight airport. In addition we produced long term traffic forecasts for the airports.
February 2008
Provision of a long term passenger traffic and ATM forecast as part of the successful bid team’s consideration of a bid for a UK Regional Airport. A market study was also undertaken in support of the forecasting activity.
October 2007
As part of due diligence acquisition bid, assessment of the future prospects for route development at Leeds Bradford Airport. Acquisition and analysis of MIDT data, production of a route network "health-check", revised traffic forecast. ASM were part of the bid management team.
April 2007
Appointed to undertake a market assessment as part of the due diligence process for acquisition of Birmingham International Airport. Including analysis of existing airport network, short-term passenger forecast and ASM perspective on current industry trends and impact on potential for development of additional services.
