ASM was founded in 1993 and was the first management consulting company specialising in the field of route development for airports.
We work exclusively for airports, helping them expand their route networks and have assisted numerous airports secure new air services, build their revenues and develop their regions. The results we have helped airports achieve clearly support our claim as the world leader in our field.
ASM only works for airports. The company does not contract to airlines. As a result we are able to protect our objectivity and freedom to act in the best way possible for our clients. This also helps with our dealings with airlines. Carriers understand that there are no conflicts of interest and, as such, our relationships with them are based on trust and mutual respect.
We are a truly global company with a network of Airline Relations managers spanning the world. This team is unique, no other company has such a resource. Our Airline Relations managers are in day-to-day contact with literally hundreds of airline network decision-makers, ensuring a deep understanding of how they work and how best to sell to them.

Research Solutions for Airports Ltd
Research Solutions for Airports (RSA) is a joint-venture between ASM and Vivid Interface – a leading market research company whose clients include Ford, Reed Exhibitions and many other blue-chip companies.
RSA provides specialist research services, providing primary and secondary research data to support route development. In particular the company looks to provide the following:
- Meaningful origin and destination data
- Context and depth of understanding
- To relate passenger activity to socio-demographic profiles
- Understanding of the passenger travel experience
- Understanding of the passenger’s relationships with competing airline and airports
